The most interesting stories are the ones about genuine people.
The incredible things people do, wear, feel, practice...We are so weird and funny. So beautiful and complex. So unique and so similar.
And I'm here to capture all these authentic parts of what makes us human.
If you know me even a little, you probably know how much I love kids. There’s something so genuine and innocent and real about these little, adorable humans. They see everything with wonder and curiosity. We could learn a thing or two about living in the moment from them.
I’ve worked with kids at a photography studio, in the classroom, at summer camps. So I know the it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. If you’re a parent reading this, you don’t need me to tell you how tiring and challenging they can be. But you know, no matter the challenge, they always manage to brighten up my day.
And the thing is, they grow up fast. That’s why I’m honored to be able to capture them in all their childhood splendor for people to cherish and look back on for years to come :)
MAZAL TOV! You made it! ...to your next birthday, your bridal shower, your courage to ask her/him to marry you and to live happily ever after!!
Ok so, some of you haven't gotten your happily ever after yet, BUT that’s ok. Give it time.
And in the meantime, how about we throw you a party anyway? Why do we even really need a reason to celebrate life? Just text all your friends and have them over for a shindig and you know what, I’ll come too, and I’ll capture all the laughs and the good times, because that’s what I’m here for. :)
I was that kid in class who covered the margins of her notes with doodles. I’m still that kid. If there is a pen and paper near me, you can almost guarantee I will be doodling on it. That feeling of pen to paper is one of my favorite feelings. I can't explain it, but you can see the bliss in my face when I get to doodle.
So one day I thought, maybe I can combine the two things that I really love to do...illustration AND photography…
So I did! Sometimes I pre-plan the illustration/photo combo. Other times I look at a photo and I see a doodle I could potentially add. I hand draw the doodle with a pen, scan it, and digitally add it onto my photo.
If you've got some images you'd like to doodle-ify, don't hesitate to reach out.
Or if you want me to take photos that I doodle-ify after our shoot, let me know. I can do that too :)
